2022 Denver Broncos schedule release: A new intern

Peyton Manning finds himself training a new intern.

The Denver Broncos have a new Sheriff in town!

Since Peyton Manning’s award-winning performance in last year’s schedule release video as the new “summer intern,” there is a new intern in Denver.

Manning appears at the beginning of the video to introduce the new intern in charge of the 2022 schedule reveal: newly-acquired Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson.

Throughout the video, Manning and a glasses-clad Wilson fend off spies trying to get a sneak peek of the 2022 schedule (ESPN’s NFL insider Adam Schefter). Wilson answering phones and sorting the mail with mascot Miles.

Head coach Nathaniel Hackett makes several appearances, telling Wilson that “Peyton wants honey in his tea. I want the good (expletive).” Wilson goes outside to get honey from orange and blue bee boxes, noting that “this wasn’t in the job description.”

At the end of the video, Wilson forgets about the schedule release, leading Vice President of Football Operations John Elway to come through on a scooter to deliver the schedule.

The Broncos season kicks off with a Monday night appearance in Seattle. Denver will have four primetime games on their schedule this season.

Jaguars announce 2022 opponents

The Jaguars will take on the AFC West and NFC East in 2022.

Jacksonville will have to wait until May to know its full schedule (and to see if it will have a non-Thursday night prime time game for the first time since 2011), but it now knows the teams it will be facing off against and the locations of those games.

In addition to their usual division matchups, the Jaguars will be taking on the AFC West and NFC East, as well as one-off matchups against the Baltimore Ravens, New York Jets and Detroit Lions. It seems like a relatively manageable schedule — or at least as manageable as possible for a team coming off a 3-14 season — but it will certainly feature a few very challenging games.

Here’s the full list of 2022 opponents.

2022 Cowboys schedule: List of opponents set

A first look at the 14 opponents who will make up Dallas’ 17-game schedule. See which road trips might be on the horizon for you.

Dallas clinched the NFC East long before the final week of the 2021 season, but there was still some unfinished business when it came to determining the list of opponents the Cowboys would face on the 2022 schedule. Now that Week 18 is concluded aside for an AFC West battle on Sunday night, the Cowboys know who exactly they will be matched up against next year.

The actual schedule that dictates the order of the games won’t be revealed until March. Right now, the club isn’t concerned at all with who is on next year’s schedule for September through December, they hope to have multiple games in January and February left to play. Still as fans wait for the wild-card game, they can think about which matchups they want to attend or travel to. Once again, the NFL will have a 17-game schedule that features a fifth game against an AFC opponent.

Here’s a look at the 14 opponents on next year’s list of foes.

Colts’ 2022 opponents set

The Colts’ opponents for the 2022 season are now set.

The Indianapolis Colts will be heading home early after the embarrassing season-finale loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars knocked them out of playoff contention.

Though the schedule won’t officially come out until the offseason—sometime in April or May—we at least know who the Colts will be squaring off against in 2022.

The Colts will have their typical six games against their division rivals. Then, they will play the entire AFC West and NFC East divisions. The other three games will be against the second-place teams in the AFC North, AFC East and NFC North.

With the season over, here is a look at the 2022 opponents for the Colts:
