LSU basketball vs. Wake Forest: Stream, injury report, broadcast info ahead of Holiday Hoopsgiving on Saturday

The Tigers are looking for their best win so far this season against the Demon Deacons.

After more than a week off, LSU’s men’s basketball team returns to the court on Saturday afternoon for a matchup against Wake Forest in the Holiday Hoopsgiving showcase at State Farm Arena in Atlanta.

The Tigers are 7-1 coming off a tight four-point win over UT Arlington, and they’ll look to earn their best win so far against a Wake team that is 7-2 and ranks No. 82 in the NET. The Demon Deacons had a massive turnaround last season under Steve Forbes, finishing 25-10 but missing the NCAA Tournament.

Wake Forest will hope to reverse those fortunes in Year 3 under Forbes, and they already have a Quadrant 1 win, which came over Wisconsin. It also has a win over an SEC team in Georgia, though they lost their ACC opener against Clemson.

They’re led by a player LSU should be familiar with in Tyree Appleby, a Florida transfer who averages 18.3 points.

Here’s what you need to know to follow the toughest remaining game in LSU’s non-conference slate, which tips off on Saturday at 1 p.m. CT.
