An Arkansas player fired off a perfect football snap for a wild no-look assist

Arkansas is having to get creative to fend off an upset-minded Colgate team.

On the hardwood, a Patriot League-SEC matchup might not be too big of a mismatch, so it made sense for Arkansas to resort to football tactics when it was trailing an upset-minded Colgate team in the first round of the Men’s NCAA Tournament.

Ok, that’s a bit of an exaggeration, but after a loose ball scramble, Razorbacks guard Davonte Davis found himself with the ball and he had his teammate J.D. Notae directly behind him, wide-open at the 3-point line.

So, naturally, Davis fired the ball between his legs like a center snapping the ball to a quarterback, hitting Notae to set up a wide-open shot from beyond the arc.

After falling behind early, Arkansas turned up the pressure to help spark a run. If they continue throwing passes like that, third-seeded Razorbacks will advance.

Does Ohio State fall in the first round? One ESPN expert thinks so.

Anything can happen in March, but will Ohio State be sent home in the opening round? One ESPN expert made the call for it to happen.

The second-seeded Ohio State basketball team will take on 15th-seeded Oral Roberts University in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament Friday at 3 pm. In the history of the tournament since the expansion to 64 teams, only eight times has a 15 beat a 2. One ESPN analyst believes that number will grow to nine after Friday.

The original bracketologist, Joe Lunardi believes the Buckeyes will fall to the Golden Eagles from Tulsa, Oklahoma, in an epic upset. Lunardi’s main reason for picking the upset? Guard play, specifically 6 foot, 1 inch Max Abmas who is leading the country in scoring.

Of course, Oral Roberts is more than just one player and we gave you some details on things to know about the Golden Eagle basketball program heading into Friday’s contest. Maybe we’re biased, but this one feels like a reach.

Upsets happen all the time in the Big Dance. That’s why they call it March Madness. And while anything is possible, I don’t see it happening to Ohio State this year. The Buckeyes are battle-tested and I see a 10-15 point win, sending Oral Roberts back to Oklahoma to watch the rest of the tournament in its dorm rooms.

Picking the 7 teams most likely to win the national championship

The Gonzaga Bulldogs are the only team heading into the tournament with an undefeated record. Who else has a chance?

March Madness officially begins this coming Thursday and when it is all said and done, only one of these teams will come away as the champions.

The Gonzaga Bulldogs are the only team heading into the tournament with an undefeated record. While it is widely considered their championship to lose at this point, there are several other schools around the nation with legitimate cases to cut down the nets as well.

With that in mind, these are the teams with the best chance of being crowned champions at the end of the NCAA tournament.
