Tacko Fall, Tremont Waters struggle in rare Red Claws loss

Boston Celtics two way players Tacko Fall and Tremont Waters had a rare off night against the G League-best Wisconsin Herd, but still had solid individual performances.

No matter how good you are, no matter the level of play, sometimes you’ll just have an off night.

And if you happen to have one the same night as another key teammate, it will usually translate to a loss, which is exactly what happened to the Boston Celtics two way twosome of Tacko Fall and Tremont Waters Saturday night.

Their “off night” wasn’t all that bad, either, with the Senegalese center still pulling down 14 boards and blocking four shots — he just struggled on the other end, going a rare 40 % from the floor on 2-of-5 shooting even though he almost always works within three feet of the cup.

Similarly, Waters struggled from deep, going 0-for-6 from three. He also made the most with what was falling, and scored a respectable 16 points and 8 assists in the 134-118 loss to the G League-best Wisconsin Herd, the developmental affiliate of the Milwaukee Bucks.

The Claws will dust themselves off and move on to the next game, which will be against the Windy City Bulls, the eponymous affiliate of the Chicago NBA franchise.

It’ll happen on Monday, February 10th at 8pm ET at the Sears Center in Hoffman Estates, Illinois, and can be seen on NBAGLeague.com.
