Tacko Fall exits Red Claws game early with undisclosed injury

Boston Celtics two way center Tacko Fall exited a game for the Maine Red Claws just moments into the contest with an undisclosed injury.

Boston Celtics two way center Tacko Fall was evidently injured early in the Maine Red Claws win over the Westchester Knicks.

The Senegalese center was hit with his second offensive foul just minutes into the contest against the developmental affiliate of the eponymous New York NBA franchise, and then subbed out with an undisclosed injury.

The Red Claws were also without two way floor general Tremont Waters, who sat for the game for unknown reasons. The Claws still managed to pull out a 116-111 win without both Boston assignees available for the Celtics’ developmental affiliate.

With no word on the nature of either absence, it’s unclear if Waters or Fall will play for the Red Claws in their next contest.

That matchup takes place Tuesday, February 25 against the Capital City Go-Go — the G league affiliate of the Washington Wizards — in the Entertainment and Sports Arena of Washington D.C., at 11:30am ET.
