It didn’t take long for the hype to become a reality for Iowa’s NIL SWARM Collective to get into different avenues of revenue and that reality is upon us. Not too long ago, the SWARM Collective announced their partnership with Exile Brewing Co. to produce a golden ale that will see proceeds go to and support the NIL fund.
Luckily for Iowa fans throughout the state, the wait is over and the opportunity to purchase the golden ale happens this week as it hits the shelves at stores statewide.

With the entrance into a partnership with Exile Brewing, this opens the door to creating new avenues of funds to support the athletes across the athletic programs. Should this partnership take off, as it looks like it could very well do, Iowa could reap the benefits of statewide funds pouring into their NIL collective.
Should that happen, the ramifications of that would be monstrous. In today’s college football world, this would open the door for Iowa to be more aggressive in the transfer portal, go after higher recruits with this to brag about, and be an ignitor to making Iowa a national player in the NIL world that is not going away in college sports.
