Studs and duds from Vikings 30-24 loss vs. Lions

The studs and duds from the game stood out like a sore thumb

The Minnesota Vikings fought hard but struggled to finish the job against the Detroit Lions, losing by a score of 30-24 on Sunday.

The game was a wild one, as the Lions got up 7-0 quickly and were up 17-7 toward the end of the first half. The end of the first half saw Justin Jefferson catch a touchdown pass and K.J. Osborn did the same to start the second half to put them up 21-17. The Lions scored in short order and the Vikings never reclaimed the lead again.

Parsing out this game will be an interesting task next week, as Nick Mullens did throw for 411 yards and two touchdowns but four interceptions proved to be too much to overcome.

The studs and duds weren’t as obvious as you might think, but they still stood out.
