Studs and duds from Texas’ 55-14 win over Kansas

Bijan Robinson and Jonathon Brooks showed out.

Texas got back in the win column with a dominant victory over Kansas on Saturday. The Longhorns controlled the game from the jump, cruising to a 55-14 win on the road.

Texas’ running game ran all over the Jayhawks’ defense, totaling a season-high 427 rushing yards as a team.

Superstar running back Bijan Robinson delivered one of the best games of his college career. Robinson ran for 243 yards and four touchdowns on a 9.7 yards per carry clip.

Sophomore running back Jonathon Brooks added an outstanding performance in mop-up duty. Brooks tallied 108 yards on the ground and two scores. He took a handoff 70 yards to the house as an exclamation point.

The Longhorns’ defense provided another excellent showing on the season. They held Kansas’ dynamic offense to just 14 points on 346 yards of total offense. Texas got off the field on two critical fourth downs early on, setting up the offense for success.
