The Buffalo Bills (10-6) came into Sunday’s game against the New England Patriots needing to win as many games as possible if they want to make sure that they make the playoffs. The Bills earned the result that they wanted as they defeated the Patriots 27-21 to keep their playoff momentum going strong.
Buffalo started this game about as badly as they could have asked for as they allowed New England wide receiver Jalen Reagor to open the contest with a 98-yard kickoff return. Despite the unfortunate start, the Bills were able to get their act together by scoring 13 points in the first quarter.
From there, Buffalo was able to keep New England at bay until the fourth quarter when the Patriots made a furious charge in their attempt to steal the game from the Bills. However, Buffalo’s defense, headlined by cornerback Rasul Douglas, made enough plays to seal the win for Buffalo.
