Since the Oklahoma loss, every week is a must-win game for Texas.
The Longhorns are currently 8-1 with a clear shot at the Big 12 Championship game. Steve Sarkisian’s team must win out in order to get there.
During media availability this week, Sarkisian revealed that he’s urging his team to approach every game like a championship game. It’s a clear but obvious statement.

Sarkisian’s right. If Texas wants to make the College Football Playoff, they must end the season with a conference championship win, something they haven’t accomplished in over a decade.
Texas’ remaining opponents are TCU, Iowa State, and Texas Tech. Their combined record is 13-14, with the Cyclones being the only team with a winning record.
