Steve Nash is thrilled to have Patty Mills and Paul Millsap on the Nets

Nets head coach Steve Nash is ready to go to work with the team’s new acquisitions.

Head coach Steve Nash is going to have his hands full this season, in a good way though. Not only does he have the luxury of coaching the big three, but he will coach some other key pieces who have seen it all. Nash had a lot to say on Tuesday’s press conference on the offseason’s acquisition of veteran guard Patty Mills:

“Patty (Mills) is obviously a championship player with the Spurs, he’s been there for 10 years. I think he’s an incredible lift to our culture, just being the type of character he is. The personality he has and his ability to shoot and play with pace helps us immensely as well.”

When talking about veteran forward Paul Millsap, the former NBA MVP highlighted the many gears the 36-year-old will bring to the table:

“Paul Millsap’s a tough, intelligent, skilled big who’s seen it all. Another guy that can play a few positions and stretch the floor or play inside. Can pass and playmake, facilitate and will understand and be able to fit into any defense.”
