Stephen A. Smith says Tom Brady would fit well with Titans

Is Brady or Tannehill the better option?

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is set to hit the free agency market in 2020, and many believe he’ll be headed elsewhere ahead of the 2020 NFL season.

On his show “First Take” with Max Kellerman, Stephen A. Smith made it clear he believes Nashville is where Brady should play next season.

“I’m here to tell you something right now, it’s Tennessee,” he said. “The Tennessee Titans, the team that lost in the AFC Championship Game last year, is where Tom Brady should go.”

Both Kellerman and Molly Qerim disagreed with Smith, saying that quarterback Ryan Tannehill was a better bet than the 42-year old at this point.

It’s worth noting that Tannehill is also set to become a free agent, though, and his future with the Titans remains unclear.

Brady is obviously an established passer and will find a place in the Hall Of Fame when his career comes to its end.

If he were to join Tennessee, he would be behind an improving offensive line and have a stable of weapons in players like wide receiver A.J. Brown and emerging pass-catchers like versatile tight end Jonnu Smith.

Brady to the Titans seems like a long-shot for the time being, but stranger things have happened, and it will be interesting to see which types of moves Tennessee makes this offseason.
