Although they’re not inside the Orlando Bubble, members of the Golden State Warriors are finding ways to get on the court for individual workouts at home.
On Friday, Stephen Curry shared a story on Instagram preparing for a training session. For his recent workout, the two-time Most Valuable Player decided to switch up his shoe game.
Instead of wearing the latest edition of his Under Armour Curry 7s, the point guard laced up a new pair of Joel Embiid’s signature Embiid 1s.

Upon Embiid’s release of his new Under Armour branded kicks in early August, Curry chimed in with a message to congratulate the All-Star center. While wearing the Embiid Ones on the court, the two-time Most Valuable Player hilariously did his best impersonation of the Philadelphia big man.

Earlier in the week, Curry received his own wave of sneaker news. Images surfaced with a detailed look at the next edition of Curry’s line of shoes from Under Armour. In August, LetsGoWarriors.com reported the six-time All-Star could be getting his very own brand. Curry’s individual label with Under Armour could mirror Michael Jordan’s involvement at Nike.

When Curry makes his much-anticipated return to Steve Kerr’s lineup in the 2020-21 season, the sharpshooting guard will have a steady staple of new kicks to don at Chase Center.
