Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs played through an oblique injury during his team’s postseason run in 2020.
That, according to the wideout himself, via his social media account on Twitter on Thursday:
I had a torn oblique, I thought I was mentally tough. But BEES is really different !

In his message, Diggs is referring to teammate Cole Beasley, who played with a broken bone in his leg during the playoffs as well.
It’s unclear exactly when Diggs was injured, though. Beasley left the Bills’ Week 16 game late in the contest and missed the team’s ensuing season finale. Diggs was shaken up against the Dolphins in that final game and was on the team’s injury report after that but downplayed the issue.
“I’m cool,” Diggs said.
Diggs ended up playing in an average of 90 percent of the Bills’ snaps on offense during the postseason, so the issue did not keep him off the field much. Still, he evidently did play dinged up.
