Stefon Diggs may have hinted his trade was coming during Twitter argument with Bills fans about Josh Allen

Stefon Diggs may have been trying to give Bills fans a heads up before he got traded to Houston

The Houston Texans and Buffalo Bills shook up the NFL world on Wednesday as the Bills sent Pro Bowl wideout Stefon Diggs to Texas in exchange for a 2025 second-round NFL Draft pick.

Houston will also receive a 2025 fifth-round pick and sixth-round pick in the blockbuster deal, but not all fans were caught off-guard by swap. In fact, it almost seemed like Diggs may have been letting his followers know the deal was coming.

As Bills fans debated on social media over just how much Diggs made Josh Allen a better quarterback, the 32-year-old receiver joined in on the conversation on X (formerly Twitter) with a subtle message that looks like a major warning in hindsight.

Could this be a coincidence? Sure!

If that’s the case, however, it seems a bit weird Diggs would be searching for his name in tweets from days earlier.

We’ll get a chance to see just how much having an elite wideout is essential to success as Diggs joins a Texans team led by reigning Rookie of the Year C.J. Stroud.

There is truly never a dull day in the NFL.
