The biggest headline that came from the Buffalo Bills’ loss to the Cincinnati Bengals in the postseason was Stefon Diggs on the sideline.
Late in the contest, Diggs was spotted yelling toward teammates, specifically quarterback Josh Allen. The receiver then tossed a little gas on top of the fire when he left the locker room in a hurry.
It was clear emotions were running high for Diggs. But he explained it was much deeper than just that afternoon.
Finally Diggs addressed how he felt in that moment. The All-Pro receiver was not just upset his team was losing, but the Bills went through… a lot in 2022. Both on and off the field.
Diggs said that everything just came to the forefront when it was clear his team was going to lose. The team of destiny was no more.
“(Losing) seemed a little bit not real,” Diggs said on the Dan Patrick Show. “When you saw frustration, it wasn’t necessarily just that play, but those moments that built up to it.”
