Bills tight end Dalton Kincaid has put in performances that have impressed in recent weeks… even Stefon Diggs now agrees.
Diggs revealed ahead of facing the Eagles that the first-round rookie has officially been upgraded to handshake status in his book.
Diggs mentioned how he has a special handshake with teammates who “deserve it.” As a rookie, he wasn’t too sure Kincaid had deserved that just yet… until the past few days.
“I feel like the handshake is important,” Diggs said. “For me, I feel like you have to earn the handshake.”
Diggs said Kincaid’s work ethic has stood out all season, but the receiver admitted he’s “not the nicest” to the young guys right away. That’s just how it was for him as a rookie and he’s passing that along. There are no hard feelings.
But now Kincaid has earned respect from the Bills’ No. 1 wideout through his production and attitude… which Kincaid put on full display after the Bills beat the Jets in Week 11.
“Just something you’ve got to build on. Make the corrections that are necessary. Just look forward to next week,” Kincaid said post-Jets win.
Let’s be honest, you’ve heard enough of that type of talk from Kincaid and the Bills. Diggs on handshakes? Not nearly enough.
