Steelers WR Gunner Olszewski being evaluated for head injury

The Steelers are running out of wide receivers.

Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Gunner Olszewski took a huge shot on a fumble late in the first quarter against the Cleveland Browns on Monday night. It is now being reported that Olszewski is doubtful to return as he is being evaluated for what the team is calling a head injury.

Olszewski was seeing a more significant role on offense this week with Diontae Johnson out. Johnson was placed on IR on Monday meaning he will miss at least four games.

The Steelers currently trail the Browns 11-7 midway through the second quarter. With Olszewski out, look for Calvin Austin III to be the team’s No. 3 receiver.
