Good news for the Pittsburgh Steelers on Thursday with the return of injured receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster to practice. He remains on the Reserve/Injured list but this is a step in the right direction to getting him back on the field.

After practice, fellow wide receiver Diontae Johnson was asked how Smith-Schuster looked and he said his teammate looked ready. Smith-Schuster has been out since mid-October with a shoulder injury.

Getting Smith-Schuster back this week might be a longshot but it would definitely give the Steelers a shot of life in the passing game. Smith-Schuster would also add additional physicality as the best run-blocking receiver on the team.

Sunday night the Steelers square off with the Kansas City Chiefs in the Wild Card round of the playoffs. Kansas City blew out the Steelers on December 26 and Smith-Schuster was not in the lineup. Do you think a potential return is what Pittsburgh needs to get past Kansas City? Let us know in the comments.
