Steelers win marks 40th straight game without 400 yards of offense

The Steelers offense has struggled for 40 straight games under OC Matt Canada.

Despite the win over the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday, the Pittsburgh Steelers kept alive a forgettable streak. Sunday marked the 40th game with Matt Canada as the Steelers offensive coordinator for all 40 of those games, the Steelers have failed to generate 400 yards of offense.

Sunday against the Ravens, the Steelers were only able to muster 289 yards of offense. This is actually an improvement as the team’s season average is only 268.2 yards per game. This ranks No. 29 in the NFL.

As a point of comparison, the Miami Dolphins lead the NFL in yards per game with a staggering 513.6 per game.

There seems to be no end in sight for the Steelers offensive futility. Pittsburgh is on the bye week so maybe the team can sort out where the problems are on that side of the football heading into the final 12 games of the season.
