On Wednesday, Pittsburgh Steelers communications director Burt Lauten released the statement below from Kalabrya Haskins. She is the wife of Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Dwayne Haskins. Haskins was tragically killed last Saturday in South Florida.
Haskins wanted to offer her gratitude to everyone who has been there for her and her family during this difficult time. Steeler Nation and the entire NFL family rallied around Haskins’ unfortunate death at the age of 24 and the outpouring of positive stories about Haskins the man, father and husband have been heartwarming for those grieving.
She also invited everyone to a celebration of Dwayne’s life on Friday, April 22 at the Allegheny Center Alliance Church in Pittsburgh.
