Steelers QB Mason Rudolph talks about fight with Myles Garrett

Mason Rudolph discusses his role in the fight Thursday night against the Cleveland Browns.

On Wednesday, Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Mason Rudolph spoke to the media about the incident that occurred at the end of Thursday’s game against the Cleveland Browns. Rudolph essentially read off a prepared statement and made an attempt to show some contrition for his part in the brawl.

NFL fans are very much divided on Rudolph’s role in the fight. Many fans, even many outside of Browns’ fans feel like Rudolph made the situation worse by his actions and could have avoided the hit he took by Myles Garrett. Some Steelers’ fans even blame head coach Mike Tomlin for calling a pass play at the end of an unwinnable game.

After watching the video above, it really felt like Rudolph’s statement was forced and lacked much in the way of sincerity. But at this point the focus needs to be the Cincinnati Bengals and Rudolph bouncing back from his worst game of the season.
