Bucs-Falcons Injury Report (Nov. 20): Jason Pierre-Paul sidelined with apparent knee injury

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers were without star pass rusher Jason Pierre-Paul during Wednesday’s practice in the team’s lead up to Week 12.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers dropped a divisional game last week to the New Orleans Saints, and things aren’t going to get easier for the 3-7 Bucs this week, even with the 3-7 Atlanta Falcons up next.

Atlanta, who began the season 1-7, has won two-straight road games against NFC South opponents, outscoring the Saints and Panthers 55-12. Not only that, the defense for the Falcons has been unstoppable since Week 10, collecting 11.0 sacks and four interceptions.

The Bucs are hoping they’ll have pass rusher Jason Pierre-Paul back in action for Sunday’s game. The big man, who missed the start of the season while recovering from a fractured neck, was out of practice today dealing with a knee injury.

The Falcons were missing a few stars of their own, with both quarterback Matt Ryan and wide receiver Julio Jones listed as DNP for Wednesday’s practice.

Here’s the full injury report for both teams.
