Things don’t look great for the Pittsburgh Steelers right now but quarterback Ben Roethlisberger wants to make sure everyone is panicking for no reason. When Roethlisberger spoke to the media on Wednesday he clarified the point that he would never quit midseason and that this team is going to be just fine.

“The season is not over,” Roethlisberger said. “I want everyone out there to just take a deep breath. I know it’s kind of crazy right now, but we got time.”

It wasn’t quite the Aaron Rodgers “relax” moment but Big Ben was definitive in saying he thinks this is a special team and they will get things right.

The last three weeks have been pretty miserable for the offense. We’ve chronicled the problems at length and continue to be skeptical as to if Pittsburgh can get these issues turned around before the playoffs.

Pittsburgh currently sits at 11-2 and on top in the AFC North. With the win over the Cincinnati Bengals this week Pittsburgh will lock up an AFC North crown.
