The Buffalo Bills were dancing in celebration after routing the Pittsburgh Steelers, 38-3, in Week 5.
But there are two sides to every game and boy did Buffalo beat down the feelings of Pittsburgh’s coach.
In the win, the Bills handed Steelers coach Mike Tomlin his worse loss in his career… one that spans all the way back to 2007.
In a way, it was historic–At least for Tomlin personally.
After that reality set in, Tomlin dusted off a couple of his classic one-liner filled, candid, post-game press conference on Sunday.
“Satisfied with the effort? We just got smashed,” Tomlin said in response to a question. “What are we talking about here guys?”
“We got smashed as a collective today,” the coach added.
Ouch.
