Steelers HC Mike Tomlin makes history in the worst way

Mike Tomlin made history on Thursday after his team’s loss to the 3-10 New England Patriots.

It was hard to imagine a worse showing by the Pittsburgh Steelers than the product they put out on the field in Week 13. But they managed to do it. And with the ugly loss to the New England Patriots, Mike Tomlin made history.

It’s just not in the ways we’re used to.

The Steelers are now the first team with a winning record in NFL history to lose two consecutive games to teams that are at least eight games under .500.

Talk about one embarrassment after another for one of the most successful franchises in all sports.

It’s been a proven fact for years that Tomlin has a knack for not adequately preparing his squad to play lousy teams. But it’s become even easier to do when the Steelers themselves have been horrible.
