The list of Pittsburgh Steelers players on the Reserve/COVID-19 list continues to grow this week. On Thursday the Steelers added two more players from the 53-man roster to the list. Those players are running back Anthony McFarland Jr. and defensive tackle Isaiah Buggs.

Buggs and McFarland join defensive tackle Montravius Adams, linebackers Devin Bush and Marcus Allen and offensive tackle Zach Banner.

The loss of McFarland doesn’t mean much since he continues to be a healthy scratch since coming off IR. McFarland was supposed to be the change-of-pace back in this offense but feels like a bust at this point.

As for Buggs, it would have been great to have him back along the defensive front this week. It seems highly unlikely Chris Wormley will be healthy enough to play which will give rookie Isaiahh Loudermilk the start.
