Do the Steelers need to draft a tight end?

Pittsburgh hasn’t utilized the position much in the receiving game since the days of Jesse James; though signing a TE of Ebron’s caliber signals that may change this season.

I don’t see the Steelers using a precious draft pick on a TE this year. In the off chance they do, history shows it won’t be until the sixth or seventh round (with the exception of Heath Miller, of course).

Ebron and McDonald could potentially both be with the team through 2021. If one of them stinks it up, there’s always next year.
