Stars, studs and duds for the Patriots in an upset loss to the Texans in Week 11

Why N’Keal Harry’s game was somewhat misunderstood.

The New England Patriots’ loss to the Houston Texans was a devastating one in the scope of the season. Bill Belichick seemed intent upon getting as many wins as possible despite an unimpressive roster, and he can’t be pleased to see their record, 4-6, with so many difficult games on the schedule ahead.

But that’s what made this loss so surprising. New England was practically surging off its win over the Baltimore Ravens, only to watch Deshaun Watson devour the Patriots defense. He was precise and productive. But it wasn’t just his brilliance that stood out — New England’s defense continues to look like the NFL’s worst. That only makes the season stranger, considering Belichick generally works his magic to tape together even the worts of units.

Here are the stars, studs and duds from the game after a film review of Sunday’s loss.
