Staff Predictions for Oklahoma Sooners vs. Missouri Tigers in Week 11

Can the Oklahoma Sooners make it back-to-back wins when they go on the road to take on the Missouri Tigers?

I don’t want to be a victim of the moment, but Oklahoma’s season, or what can be salvaged of it, rides on what takes place Saturday in Columbia, Missouri.

Oklahoma needs a sixth win for bowl eligibility, and expecting a sixth win to happen against Alabama and LSU after the way they’ve looked is as funny as a Saturday morning cartoon to an elementary school kid.

Mizzou’s Brady Cook isn’t looking like he’s playing. Despite being ranked, Missouri is a beatable team even for the flawed Sooners. Maybe the performance against Maine helped infuse a much-needed boost of confidence.

I’m choosing to believe so, and I am taking the Sooners to win on the road behind two touchdown passes from Jackson Arnold and a Taylor Tatum rushing TD.

I am going out on a limb and assuming Deion Burks, who sounds slated to return, is one of those touchdown recipients. Billy Bowman will get a pick, and I am picking Oklahoma to record four sacks.

Oklahoma 27, Missouri 19
