- The Hawks of St. Joe’s have had some difficulty so far this season, but they have faced a tough schedule. They have losses are against Auburn, Kansas and Villanova, and they covered a 21.5-point number against ‘Nova last time out on Dec. 19.
- St. Joseph’s has had a difficult time on the defensive end, allowing 89.8 points per game to rank 329th in the nation. They’re also fair on the offensive side, posting 77.0 PPG to rank 111th overall. It’s probably no surprise that the Over has hit in each of its four games to date.
- Tennessee roughed up Tennessee Tech 103-49 last time out, covering a 29.5-point number. In their prior game, they blasted Appalachian State by a 79-38 score. The Vols are 4-0 ATS, and the Under has hit in three of four overall. Their defense is No. 1 in the nation, yielding just 47.5 PPG.

TENNESSEE -22.5 (-105) has been suffocating on defense, and all four of its games haven’t been against cupcakes, either. Sure, Tennessee Tech and App State aren’t exactly the cream of the basketball crop, but Colorado has been ranked, and Cincinnati is also on the victim list of the Vols. Tennessee is a strong team looking to make noise in what will hopefully be the 2021 NCAA Tournament.
Over/Under (O/U)
The UNDER 146 (-110) is the best option in this game, as Tennessee just doesn’t let up on the defensive end. Not only are teams scoring just 47.5 PPG against the Vols, but opponents are hitting just 32.9 percent from the floor, and 25.8 from behind the 3-point line. A winless St. Joe’s isn’t going to change anything, even if the Over is 4-0 in their previous four.
