[autotag]SS-Greenlight Racing[/autotag] entered the 2023 NASCAR Xfinity Series season looking for its second victory after Cole Custer won in the No. 07 car at Auto Club Speedway in 2022. Unfortunately, it didn’t come close for the organization, as it only compiled three top-10 finishes. Gray Gaulding had two of those three top-10 finishes and only competed in 11 events.
Several other drivers, such as Aric Almirola, Daniel Suarez, and Carson Hocevar, drove the entry but could not have enough speed or luck for a consistent top-10 finish. Needless to say, it wasn’t a great year for SS-Greenlight Racing, and it is unclear where they will go now. Both entries had full-time entries to start 2023 but it didn’t last.
For 2024, there are no official announcements regarding SS-Greenlight Racing. Blaine Perkins, who started 2023 with the team, will join RSS Racing in 2024, so that door is closed. It will be interesting to see what SS-Greenlight Racing does next. Will they hire full-time drivers or become an “All-Star” team with multiple drivers in each entry?
