The San Antonio Spurs are at the point in the season where they have the freedom to start taking a closer look at some young players. Recently, they made a string of transactions, bringing in two new two-way players – Jamaree Bouyea and Raiquan Gray. In turn, they converted Dominick Barlow’s contract from a two-way deal to a standard contract.
Bouyea, in particular, had been absolutely dominating the G League prior to getting picked up by the Spurs. He was playing for the Sioux Falls Skyforce, the Miami Heat’s G League affiliate, and in his final few games with them, Bouyea was unbelievable.
Here are the best highlights from one of his last games with the Skyforce before the Spurs signed him to a two-way contract.
Adding a guy like Bouyea gives the Spurs a chance to evaluate a top-notch G League player at a position of need for the remainder of the season.
