Spotrac predicts Kenyan Drake’s free agency landing spot and contract details

Kenyan Drake may be on the move before the 2021 season if he doesn’t re-sign with the Cardinals. Spotrac guesses where he might land.

One of the top websites for reporting on contracts, Spotrac, has released their predictions for big-name free agents in the 2021 offseason.

Michael Ginnitti of Spotrac has made his predictions, and one of them include a former Alabama running back.

Kenyan Drake has had an interesting time in the NFL, despite still having a young career. After beginning his career in Miami, then being traded to Arizona, Drake is likely going to be on the move again.

Ginnitti believes Drake could be heading back to the AFC East, but to be with the New York Jets on a two-year, $10 million deal.

“Drake had a chance to grab hold of the #1 role in ARZ on a transition tag in 2020, but failed to do so. He’s a good addition to a multi-RB situation, but not at top dollar.”

There is still a chance Drake re-signs with Arizona, but all signs point to him exploring free agency and seeing what’s offered to him.
