Spire Motorsports ‘likely’ to go full-time in NASCAR Truck Series for 2024

Spire Motorsports is “likely” to become a full-time organization in the NASCAR Truck Series starting in 2024.

[autotag]Spire Motorsports[/autotag] has slowly been growing over the last few seasons and it is being shown by improved results in NASCAR’s top-3 levels. Corey LaJoie is having a career year in the Cup Series while Carson Hocevar has run very well for the organization in its first season in the Xfinity Series. Meanwhile, the Truck Series program has been solid in its second season.

Most notably, the Truck Series has featured several notable drivers during the 2023 NASCAR season, such as Kyle Larson, Marco Andretti, and Layne Riggs. To this point, the No. 7 truck has remained a part-time entry; however, that could change for the 2024 NASCAR season.

According to FOX Sports’ Bob Pockrass on SiriusXM NASCAR Radio, the No. 7 truck for Spire Motorsports is expected to become a full-time entry in 2024. As previously stated, It would be a major jump for the organization as it has only made select starts with multiple drivers.

A few drivers would make sense for the No. 7 truck if it does become full-time. Coincidentally, they all come from GMS Racing, which is ceasing operations at the conclusion of the season. Grant Enfinger, Rajah Caruth, and Daniel Dye all need a ride for next year. For now, Spire Motorsports will look for a big day with Derek Kraus at the Milwaukee Mile this Sunday.
