Spencer Dinwiddie favored to win All-Star event, Joe Harris’ stock slips

Miami Heat guard Duncan Robinson has emerged as the favorite to win the 2020 3-Point Contest over Brooklyn Nets sharpshooter Joe Harris.

After the participants for all of the 2020 NBA All-Star Game Weekend events were announced, oddsmakers viewed both Spencer Dinwiddie and Joe Harris as favorites to win their respective events. Harris will try to hold onto his title as NBA 3-Point Contest champion and Dinwiddie will try to take his Skills Challenge crown back from Boston Celtics wing Jayson Tatum.

BetOnline still likes Dinwiddie’s chances at winning, but Harris’ stock has dropped from their vantage point.

Dinwiddie is the 3/1 favorite to win the All-Star Skills Challenge. If he’s upset, BetOnline feels Oklahoma City Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (4/1) is the most likely to do so. Tatum, the reigning champ, has 5/1 odds to win, as does Toronto Raptors forward Pascal Siakam.

When it comes to Harris’ position, not is he no longer the favorite to win, BetOnline only gave him the third-best odds to win the 3-Point Contest.

Miami Heat guard Duncan Robinson (3/1) is BetOnline‘s favorite to win. Washington Wizards forward Davis Bertans (7/2) is right behind him. Then comes Harris and Atlanta Hawks guard Trae Young (9/2).

The Skills Challenge will be the first event on of NBA All-Star Saturday Night. That gets started at 8 p.m. on TNT.
