Spencer Dinwiddie continues to climb Nets’ all-time 3-pointers made list

Spencer Dinwiddie didn’t have his best night from 3-point territory in the loss to Orlando, but one of the attempts he made was significant.

Although Spencer Dinwiddie didn’t have his best night from 3-point territory in Brooklyn’s 101-89 loss to the Orlando Magic, he hit one fairly significant shot from long-range.

With the first of the two 3-pointers Dinwiddie made on Monday, the point guard took sole possession of seventh place on the Nets’ all-time 3-point field goals made list. He was previously tied with Chris Morris, who made 368 in his time with the Nets. Dinwiddie has now made 370 throughout his time in Brooklyn.

The next player ahead of Dinwiddie is former Nets point guard Deron Williams, who wound up with 485 — and was passed by Joe Harris earlier in the 2019-20 season.

After his 2-for-10 performance from 3-point territory, Dinwiddie is now shooting 29.6% from deep on the season. Last season, the point guard shot 33.5% from long-range.

Overall, Dinwiddie went 6-for-19 in the loss and scored a team-high 16 points.
