Spencer Brown’s back issue could be creeping up on him again at Buffalo Bills training camp.
Buffalo’s starting right tackle was spotted leaving the practice field it was appeared to be a “stiff” state during the team’s seventh day of practices on Thursday. According to Locked On Bills, Brown was unable to bend over to pick up his helmet:
At the end of of practice, Bills OT Spencer Brown left the field walking with obvious stiffness and accompanied by several trainers. He looked extremely uncomfortable and could not bend over to pick up his helmet. He has a history of back problems.

A follow-up report from the Batavia Daily News after practice noted that Brown was on an “electric bicycle” after practice. It’s unclear if that means Brown was in pain or not.
Last offseason, Brown had back surgery and he has had various back issues throughout his young career. Due to the nature of the potential injury, Brown’s status is one to follow in the coming days.
