Michigan State football has extended a scholarship offer to a three-star linebacker from Wisconsin.
Cooper Catalano of Germantown, Wisc. announced via Twitter that he received a scholarship from the Spartans on Thursday. Catalano is listed at 6-foot-2 and 200 pounds.
Catalano ranks as the No. 38 linebacker and No. 5 player from Wisconsin in 247Sports’ rankings for the 2025 class. He’s also listed as the No. 427 overall player in 247Sports’ composite rankings.
Catalano already has offers from six programs, according to 247Sports. Michigan State, Illinois, Iowa State, Kansas, Minnesota and Wisconsin have all extended him an offer.
