Michigan State football is looking to steal a commit from a Mid-American Conference school.
Cairo Skanes of Asheville, N.C. announced last week that he’s received an offer from the Spartans. Skanes is a cornerback prospect in the 2025 class, and is currently committed to Miami (OH).

Skanes is currently unranked on 247Sports.
Michigan State is one of a handful of schools at the FBS level to offer Skanes, according to 247Sports. He also holds offers from Miami (OH), Charlotte, James Madison, Navy and Troy.
