Michigan State football has extended a scholarship offer to a big-time Division II transfer portal wide receiver target.
The Spartans are still in pursuit of a wide receiver in the transfer portal and they are now trying to land former Pittsburg State slot receiver Christian Carter. He announced an offer from the Spartans via Twitter on Sunday.
During the 2022 season, Carter recorded 51 receptions for 692 yards and five touchdowns for the Gorillas and will have two years of eligibility remaining.
Since entering the portal earlier this week, Carter has received offers from Texas A&M, Western Kentucky, San Diego State, New Mexico State, Utah State, Ball State, Kent State and a few FCS programs.
