The Miami Dolphins did themselves a service by drafting Christian Wilkins as the defensive tackle has translated from a college football star at Clemson to an NFL star with the Dolphins.
Wilkins wasn’t a star right away in the NFL, but over the past few seasons, we’ve seen the young defensive tackle breakout and develop into one of the NFL’s best at the position. We saw another outstanding Wilkins performance Friday in the Dolphins 34-13 win over the New York Jets.
Against the Jets, Wilkins picked up two sacks and wreaked havoc for the Jets offensive line snap after snap. It was a top-tier performance from Wilkins, who now has a career-high 6.5 sacks this season with six games left.
