Social media reacts as No. 3 Iowa women’s basketball picks up 28th straight win over Wisconsin

Social media reacted as No. 3 Iowa women’s basketball rolled past Wisconsin, 87-65, in front of a sold out Kohl Center.

What a big performance from the Caitlin Clark-led Hawkeyes against the Wisconsin Badgers. The Hawkeyes defeated the Badgers 87-65 to move to 10-1 on the season.

This was exactly what you like to see, Iowa pulling away from their opponent as the game progressed and not playing with their food. Despite being close after the first quarter, Iowa progressively just poured it on, finding their stroke from outside and shutting down the Wisconsin offense.

As the lead increased in the second half, you saw the team really start to gel. It was a great team performance, not just Caitlin Clark dragging the Hawkeyes to victory.

Speaking of Clark, she was still pretty spectacular with 28 points and nine rebounds. She was heavily aided by some big-time performances around her, though. Sophomore forward Hannah Stuelke had 21 points off the bench, and junior guard Sydney Affolter grabbed 11 boards off the bench. It was a great all-around performance by the Hawkeyes on Sunday afternoon.

Hawkeye Nation was enjoying this one across social media as the Hawkeyes grabbed an incredible 28th consecutive win over Wisconsin.
