USC losing to Long Beach State was a real downer on Sunday in the Galen Center, but Bronny James’ Trojan debut was a bright moment.
Bronny’s first game as a Trojan brought a packed house to USC’s basketball arena. His debut brought LeBron James and the James family to the house. There was a buzz inside the building and a warm reception for a young man who — let’s remember — suffered cardiac arrest in July. People were on hand to see Bronny James play basketball, but they were also there to show support for someone who has gone through a lot at a very young age. Just seeing Bronny on the court was itself a triumph.
