UGA basketball recruiting is heating up after gaining a commitment from the nation’s No. 16 player, Jacob Wilkins

Georgia basketball continues its recruiting roll. Head coach Mike White and the Bulldogs recently received a commitment from four-star shooting forward Jacob Wilkins, who is a member of the class of 2025.

Jacob Wilkins committed to the Georgia Bulldogs over the Virginia Cavaliers. Wilkins, who is the son of former Georgia legend and NBA great Dominique Wilkins, will wear the legendary No. 21 jersey during his career in Athens.

Georgia basketball recently gained a commitment from five-star forward Asa Newell and remains in the mix for five-star Derrion Reid.

Jacob Wilkins is very close to being rated as a five-star. The 6-foot-8, 170-pound forward is the No. 16 player in the country and the No. 4 shooting forward in the class of 2025. Wilkins is the No. 3 player in Georgia, per 247Sports. The elite shooting forward plays high school basketball for Grayson High School in Loganville, Georgia.
