SMU wide receiver Reggie Roberson Jr. will miss the rest of the 2020 college football season due to a knee injury

One of the top wide receiver prospects in the country will miss the rest of the season due to injury.

SMU’s Reggie Roberson Jr. suffered a knee injury that will knock him out of the 2020 college football season, head coach Sonny Dykes confirmed Monday (via Sam Blum, Dallas Morning News).

Roberson, who saw his 2019 campaign also cut short by injury, was having a breakout campaign for the Mustangs. He finished the 2020 season with 474 yards on just 22 receptions, averaging 21.5 yards per receptions with five touchdowns.

The six-foot, 200-pound Roberson is sure to be one of the top senior prospects at his position in the 2021 NFL Draft class.
