The NBA Draft was originally scheduled for late June, but the COVID-19 pandemic forced them to move the event to a much later time.
As we draw closer to the draft, we are learning about which players will be invited to the NBA Combine.
Two LSU players — freshman Trendon Watford and senior Skylar Mays each received invites. Watford has until Aug. 3 to decide whether or not to remain in the NBA Draft or return to Baton Rouge in 2020-21.
As a freshman last season, the former five-star recruit averaged 13.6 points and 7.2 rebounds per game.

Mays finished his LSU career by leading the team in scoring at 16.7 points per game.
Mays improved in each of his four seasons with LSU. As a freshman in 2016-17, he averaged just over eight points per game. In each of the next three seasons, he would improve by at least two points per game.
On his career, Mays played in a total of 130 games, making 121 starts.
As of now, the 2020 NBA Draft is tentatively scheduled for Oct. 16.
