Sixers training camp: who’s the odd man out in the guard rotation?

With training camp approaching, the Philadelphia 76ers have to figure out the guard rotation behind Tyrese Maxey and James Harden.

Training camp is quickly approaching for the Philadelphia 76ers as they get set to head out to Colorado State University in preparation for the 2023-24 season. The Sixers are still expected to be contenders in the Eastern Conference despite the James Harden saga over the summer.

Among the questions the Sixers must figure out is what the guard rotation will look like behind Harden (if he does show up) and Tyrese Maxey. While Harden and Maxey will be fully entrenched in the starting lineup at the guard spots, the Sixers will need to decide who gets the minutes off the bench.

While De’Anthony Melton and Patrick Beverley will certainly get the bulk of the minutes, there could be a few minutes left over for somebody to make an impact. The question is which one will be left out?
