He has put himself squarely in the MVP conversation averaging 27.7 points and 11.5 rebounds to begin the season and he has the Sixers at the top of the Eastern Conference.
Embiid had himself another huge game on Saturday scoring 33 points and 14 rebounds in a win over the Pistons on the road.
That follows up two dominant efforts against the Celtics where he had 42 points and 10 rebounds and then had 38 points and 11 rebounds.
It’s the fourth time in his career he has had three straight games of 30 points and 10 rebounds.
