Sixers star Tyrese Maxey to miss 3-4 weeks due to fracture in foot

Philadelphia 76ers star Tyrese Maxey will miss 3-to-4 weeks due to a fracture in his foot.

The Philadelphia 76ers are already dealing with the injury to James Harden as he continues his recovery from a right foot tendon strain, but now they are also dealing with an injury to their rising star guard as well.

Tyrese Maxey left Friday’s win over the Milwaukee Bucks at halftime after scoring 24 points on 9-for-12 shooting in the first half with a foot injury. Afterward, coach Doc Rivers revealed that Maxey was in a boot and that he would miss Saturday’s game with the Minnesota Timberwolves.

However, Maxey will miss more than just Saturday’s contest. He will miss 3-to-4 weeks due to a fracture in his foot and Philadelphia will be looking for more help from their guards now more than ever

Without Maxey, the Sixers will rely more on Shake Milton and De’Anthony Melton to lead the way. Furkan Korkmaz is out dealing with a knee injury as well while Harden should be on the mend sooner rather than later.
